Here Lies a Mask

 

In April of 2020 I wrote this: "Coronavirs Masks and Gloves are a Joke" (https://lwgat.blogspot.com/2020/04/coronavirus-masks-and-gloves-are-joke.html).

"Oh," they said, "you're not a SCIENTIST!"

"Masks make us SAFE!"

I stand behind my original post and here is some very recent actual science (not "media scientism"): "Modeling the filtration efficiency of a woven fabric: The role of multiple lengthscales" (https://aip.scitation.org/doi/full/10.1063/5.0074229).

From the articles "Conclusion": "... filtration efficiency of our imaged fabric is in the range 2.5%–10% ..." - and this is for particles much larger (1.5um) than the Covid.  The article covers, in depth, actual science experiments (not "simulations") that measure results.

And what they discuss is the part of the "vapor" that actually goes through the mask as opposed to around it (as the picture demonstrates).  As you can see quite a lot doesn't even go through the mask.

The masks, particularly cloth masks, do nothing, though "surgical" masks don't fair any better as you can see.

They cannot possibly protect you in any way.

You have been lied to for the past two years.

This is drama and theater generated by government controlled "scientism media."

The masks actually made no one safer - not you, not other people.

The only thing they did was make you feel superior for wearing one.

And, of course, there are downsides to restraining people's breathing...
