Joseph Goebbels Brings Ethylene Oxide Truth to Covid

I recently came upon the video linked here:

This video is about Ethylene Oxide (EO).  This is a carcinogenic gas used to sterilize the cotton swabs used for taking Covid samples high up in your nasal cavity.

The claim here is that EO is not good for you, and, as this woman says, Youtube believes that knowing this is bad for you so they took down her video.

USA Today, for example, takes a hit at these claims.

Basically they agree with the fact that EO is a carcinogen, its bad for you, and so on.  But at the very end of the article they say: "For the gas to be hazardous to us humans, we would need to be exposed to high concentrations of it for long enough periods of time, not from the occasional use of a swab, Batterman said."

So let's see what dear old OSHA says about the exposure (link here): "Employee exposure is limited to one part EtO per million parts of air (1 ppm) measured as an 8-hour time-weighted average (TWA). Employee exposure may not exceed the short-term excursion limit of 5 ppm EtO averaged over any 15-minute sampling period. These limits are called permissible exposure limits (PELs)."

Yet this paper points out that the swabs should not be used in the nasal cavity for at least five (5) weeks after sterilization.

And USA Today, in the same article, says: "there's likely hardly a trace of (ethylene oxide) remaining," Stuart Batterman, an environmental health sciences professor at the University of Michigan, told FactCheck.org in June."

The operative words here are "likely hardly a trace."

Is this a scientific term like 1ppm?

I think not.

There are many other "fact check" articles out there as well, all vaguely covering the same idea: see this at AP for example.

The problem is that these swabs come from China.

How are they made there?

What sway the the FDA have over the manufacturers there?  Probably not much.

Does anyone actually check these swabs, as the are imported by the millions, that they conform to proper sterilization protocols?

Probably not.

Should you feel safe with all this...?

Probably not.

Are the "fact checkers" really checking the fact?

No.

An actual fact check you question the various sources as well as actually examine wha is coming into the US from China.

Otherwise its all just a statement from Orwell's "Ministry of Truth..."

Joseph Goebbels Brings Truth to Covid

To the left is a Nazi book burning (curtesy of Wikipedia).  Again, curtesy of Wikipedia: "Meanwhile, the Nazi Party began passing laws to marginalise Jews the unvaccinated and remove them from German modern society."

All you will hear in the media is what you are supposed to think.  Not what is true, not what contradicts what you should think of as true, nor any other "subversive" thought or idea.

My comments here are echoed all over the world.

People are rightfully suspicious when they are told of powerful, world-sweeping, magic solutions to problems they didn't know they had.

None the less today I came across this jewel of science scientism under "Google News":

Link here.

Sounds grime, doesn't it.

There's even a supporting diagram ostensibly show how the spew from the teachers mouth infected a cluster of students sitting up front in the class room:

Here's the corresponding CDC report.

The basic idea is that the teacher had covid, talked to the class for a week, and then everybody in the blue boxes (filled in or outlined in blue) got "Covid."

What's interesting is this paragraph in the "Discussion" section: "The findings in this study are subject to at least three limitations. First, the teacher’s specimen was unavailable for WGS, which prevented phylogenetic identification of the outbreak’s index patient. Second, testing for parents and siblings was self-directed and took place mostly outside the school setting, which could have led to under ascertainment of cases. Finally, challenges in testing acceptance among possible contacts from outside the school led to difficulty in characterizing the outbreak’s actual spread into the community, as is evidenced by later discovery of additional community cases with sequences indistinguishable from those in the school outbreak."

The article also claims "The attack rate in the two rows seated closest to the teacher’s desk was 80% (eight of 10) and was 28% (four of 14) in the three back rows (Fisher’s exact test; p = 0.036)."  So one imagines the teach sat at her desk all day long spewing Covid on the students.

Yet the teacher's WGS (whole genome sequencing) results were "unavailable."  In simple English we don't know what made the teacher sick - could have been Covid, could have been flu, could have been anything else.

Yet the NBC headline says:

So this is simply false, at least as far as the contents of the article are concerned.

Apparently no one in the teachers lounge, lunch room or anywhere else the teacher went throughout the day got sick.

What kind of tests were used?

Probably PCR tests... at least when "family (parents, siblings according to the article" did the tests.

According to the NYT (link here) PCR tests are not reliable.  As you will recall goats, pawpaw and Coca Cola all test positive for Covid (see this and this).  NOTE: Fact checking says the Austrian Coca Cola test was done incorrectly and, not surprisingly, produced a "positive" result.  Of course, of the hundreds of millions of Covid tests this would be the single case of someone using the test incorrectly.

So this article is clearly "propaganda" - not science but scientism.

Much like the Ministry of Truth in Orwell's 1984 NBC serves to promoting the "agenda" you are to follow.

And Facebook, the "fact checkers", etc. etc. are just like the Joseph Goebbels of Nazi Germany.  Conducting a "book burning" of books, articles and other content deemed to be "false."
