Here is what happens when you don't follow the vaccination policy in the Los Angeles Fire Department.
In the yellow section: "... due to your failure to comply ... COVID-19 Vaccination Policy ...Because of the Department's current staffing crisis, resulting from the current COVID-19 surge, your five (5) day suspension without pay will be served at a future date" (underline mine).
To be clear, it's okay for you not to be vaccinated under our policy requiring you to be vaccinated since we need you to work anyway because others have quit, left or are not otherwise available, or, in other words, putting out fires is more important than spreading Covid...
